Description

4LNS is looking for a DODAF Systems Engineer or Architect for MBSE support work delivering integrated products to the Navy's combat systems.

Looking for an experienced systems engineer or architect to support the development and management of cyber architectures/MBSE products and initiatives in support of naval system engineering program development.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage DODAF architecture/MBSE products and initiatives that support modeling the cyber architecture of Aegis and FFG systems in support of system engineering program development.

Provide subject matter expertise and systems engineering to maintain system cyber design alignment with external programs of record.

Identify cyber integration issues and system requirements discrepancies across multiple systems.

Collaborate with other engineering teams in planning, design, and development of systems to ensure software and hardware performance and compatibility.

Maintain system cyber model in Cameo model-based systems engineering tool.

Participate in design working group and technical interchange meetings.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience with systems engineering and the utilization of model-based systems and digital engineering processes, principles, techniques, and procedures in the development of DODAF architectures for naval systems.

Understanding of model-based systems engineering tools such as Cameo, Magic Draw, Rhapsody, and/or other SysML modeling tools.

Preferred Skills and Experience

In-depth knowledge of Naval Surface Warfare concepts and programs and architectures such as Aegis of FFG.

Extensive experience with Cameo Magic Draw supporting NAVSEA programs with systems engineering and the utilization of model-based systems and digital engineering processes, principles, techniques, and procedures in the development of DODAF architectures for naval systems.

Experience and knowledge in the development of high-fidelity engineering models for AEGIS or FFG programs.

Education Required

Engineering, Math or technical bachelor’s degree or higher.
